Our instructors train together in a dedicated teachers’ group, allowing them to keep developing their skills. They have all completed DéDé Dance’s in-house dance teacher training programme, based entirely on the DéDé Dance philosophy: enthusiastic, versatile and accessible.
The programme also provides in-depth training in teaching methods: how do you help a student master a new skill? In addition, our instructors learn about the development of children and teenagers, so they can tailor each class to the right age group.
This means you will always be taught in a way that suits you and your peers.

Performances in the village
One of the best things about dancing is performing together as a group. Every year, our dance classes in Deurne take part in several performances, including at the annual fair and the Christmas market.
What matters most is that we all work towards the performance together. As a group, we put on a real show. Everyone can take part — a positive attitude is what matters most.

We use games to teach dance movements, because learning through play is the most enjoyable way to discover new things. The mouse game, for example, helps children gradually become more flexible.
It is wonderful to see how quickly even the very youngest dancers make progress. In Deurne, children can start dancing with us from the age of two — before they even start primary school.

For children and adults too
In Deurne, we currently offer dance classes for all age groups, ranging from two-year-olds to young adults and adults.

Dancing is the most enjoyable way to stay active

A new challenge every 10 weeks
After the first half-hour of the class, the real dance party begins. We revisit previous choreography and learn new steps, whether for an upcoming performance or simply for fun — always in a friendly and enjoyable group atmosphere.  Because everyone-young, old, fat, thin, big or small-should have fun. There is no question about that. That is the atmosphere of DéDé Dance that we would like to maintain.

Let loose and have fun
At DéDé Dance, it is not all about serious dancing — having fun is just as important. A healthy dose of laughter, fun and friendly banter makes every class even more enjoyable.
That is why we always make special occasions extra festive. Our instructors also give workshops at primary schools, giving children throughout Deurne the chance to get to know our dance school.

One level up each time

Continually keep looking for the challenge. As you get better or older, we make the dance lessons more and more difficult. Yet all groups dance to the same music and to the same basic exercises. Our teachers always help you make the exercises and dance steps more difficult.

Interaction encourages learning
Our classes are taught in a way that helps dancers understand and remember what they learn. Even the very youngest dancers quickly pick up new skills. From the very beginning, you learn to perform and remember the exercises independently.
As you get older, you develop a better understanding of how to perform each dance step correctly.

Dreaming of joining a demo team
If you stand out from the rest of your group, you may have the opportunity to join one of our demo teams. We believe it is important that everyone gets the chance to dance at a level that suits them.
You can continue dancing with your group of friends in the regular class you have been part of for seven years, while also getting the extra challenge you need in the demo team.
