With DéDé, we operate in many locations. Each location has its own specialty, so you can go all out with Urban Dance at one location and go wild with Classic or Danceballet at another.
We also offer lessons in Veldhoven Heikant, Veldhoven Oerle and Veldhoven Zeelst.
Come dance at the most fun dance school in Strijp! Instructor Laura teaches DéDé Danceballet at Basisschool Strijp Dorp. Would you like to join a class? Even the average Dance Dance Dance contestant would have nothing on you.
Our instructors train together in a dedicated teachers’ group, allowing them to keep developing their skills. They have all completed DéDé Dance’s in-house dance teacher training programme, based entirely on the DéDé Dance philosophy: enthusiastic, versatile and accessible.
The programme also provides in-depth training in teaching methods: how do you help a student master a new skill? In addition, our instructors learn about the development of children and teenagers, so they can tailor each class to the right age group.
This means you will always be taught in a way that suits you and your peers.
Performances in the city
One of the best things about dancing is, of course, performing. Every year, our dance classes in Strijp take part in several performances, including during the King’s Day celebrations and the Sinterklaas parade.
What matters most is that we all work towards the performance together. As a group, we put on a real show. Everyone can take part — a positive attitude is what matters most.
Experience the family feeling
Whether you are a toddler or a teenager, everyone at DéDé Dance in Strijp is part of one big family. The youngest girls look up to the older dancers in the more advanced groups and can learn a lot from them. In turn, the older girls are always happy to look after the younger groups.
Everyone belongs, and that is what creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
A new challenge every 10 weeks
After the first half-hour of the class, the real dance party begins. We revisit previous choreography and learn new dance steps, whether for an upcoming performance or simply for fun.
We always dance in a fun and welcoming group atmosphere. Everyone — young or old, big or small — should be able to enjoy themselves. That goes without saying. It is the special DéDé Dance atmosphere that we want to preserve.
Let loose and have fun
DéDé Dance classes are not only about serious dancing — having fun is just as important. The right amount of laughter, friendly banter and togetherness makes every class even more enjoyable.
That is why we always make special occasions extra festive. Our instructors also regularly give workshops at primary schools, giving children throughout Strijp the chance to get to know the most fun dance school in the area.
Children of different ages can find a group where they feel at home at the most fun dance school in Strijp!
We offer groups for children aged 3 to 8.
Continually keep looking for the challenge. As you get better or older, we make the dance lessons more and more difficult. Yet all groups dance to the same music and learn the same basic exercises. Our teachers always help you make the exercises and dance steps more difficult.
Interaction encourages learning
The classes are taught in a way that makes everything easy to understand and remember. Even the very youngest dancers quickly pick up new skills. From the very beginning, you learn to remember and perform the exercises independently.
As you get older, you develop a better understanding of how to perform each dance step correctly.
Dreaming of joining a demo team
If you stand out from the rest of your group, you may have the opportunity to join one of our demo teams. We believe it is important that everyone gets the chance to dance at a level that suits them.
You can continue dancing with your own group in the regular class you have been part of for some time, while also getting the extra challenge you need in the demo team.
