Welcome to DéDé Dance in Stratum!
DéDé Dance features all styles of dance. No hip-hop, dancehall or modern dance: you steal the show with our unique dance style DéDé dance ballet.

highly trained instructors.
Our instructors train together in a dedicated teachers’ group, allowing them to keep developing their skills. They have all completed DéDé Dance’s in-house dance teacher training programme, based entirely on the DéDé Dance philosophy: enthusiastic, versatile and accessible.
The programme also provides in-depth training in teaching methods: how do you help a student master a new skill? In addition, our instructors learn about the development of children and teenagers, so they can tailor each class to the right age group.
This means you will always be taught in a way that suits you and your peers.

Performances in Stratum
One of the best things about dancing is performing. Every year, our dance classes in Stratum take part in several performances, including during the Sinterklaas parade and the King’s Day celebrations.
What matters most is that we all work towards the performance together. As a group, we put on a real show. Everyone can take part — a positive attitude is what matters most.
Experience the family feeling
At DéDé Dance in Stratum, we are one big family. The youngest children look up to the older dancers in the more advanced groups and can learn a lot from them. In turn, the older girls are always happy to look after the younger groups.
Everyone belongs, and that is what creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We use games to teach dance movements, because learning through play is the most enjoyable way to discover new things. The mouse game, for example, helps children gradually become more flexible.
It is wonderful to see how quickly even the very youngest dancers make progress. In Stratum, children can start dancing with us from the age of three.
For adults too
At the moment, most of the classes at our dance school in Stratum are for children and teenagers. However, if there is enough interest, we will also offer dance classes for adults.

Dancing is the most enjoyable way to stay active
A new challenge every 10 weeks
After the first half-hour of the class, the real dance party begins. We revisit previous choreography and learn new dance steps. Sometimes we practise for an upcoming performance, while other times we simply dance for fun — but always in a friendly and enjoyable group atmosphere.
Everyone, young or old, big or small, should be able to enjoy dancing. That goes without saying. It is the special DéDé Dance atmosphere that we want to preserve.
Deliciously crazy
It's not just about serious dancing. It is just as important to have fun. A class becomes even more fun with the right amount of joking and sociability. That's why we always turn special occasions into something fun. Fun activities take place during King's Day and St. Nicholas. Our teachers also give regular workshops at elementary schools, so that everyone in Stratum gets to know the most fun dance school.
For all age groups
With the help of games we learn dance movements, because you learn the best new things through play. For example, with the mouse game, you learn how to become more and more agile. It is wonderful to see how even the littlest ones make progress very quickly. In Eindhoven, you can come dance with us as young as 2.5 years old. So you learn to dance before you are in elementary school.
Currently there are mostly youth groups at our dance school in Stratum, but if there is enough enthusiasm we will also give dance lessons to adults.
One level up each time
Continually keep looking for the challenge. As you get better or older, we make the dance lessons more and more difficult. Yet all groups dance to the same music and learn the same basic exercises. Our teachers always help you make the exercises and dance steps more difficult.
Interaction encourages learning
The classes are taught in a way that makes everything easy to understand and remember. Even the very youngest dancers quickly pick up new skills. From the very beginning, you learn to remember and perform the exercises independently.
As you get older, you develop a better understanding of how to perform each dance step correctly.
Dreaming of joining a demo team
If you stand out from the rest of your group and are ready for an extra challenge, you may have the opportunity to join one of our demo teams. We believe it is important that everyone gets the chance to dance at a level that suits them.
You can continue dancing with your group of friends, while also getting the extra challenge you need in the demo team.
