A dance school for everyone
In Helmond, we currently offer dance classes for all ages. Our classes are taught in a clear and engaging way, helping dancers understand and remember what they learn. Even our youngest groups quickly pick up new skills.
From the very beginning, you learn to remember and perform the exercises independently. As you get older, you develop a better understanding of how to perform each dance step correctly.

For our youngest dancers
We use games to teach dance movements, because learning through play is the most enjoyable way to discover new things. The mouse game, for example, helps children gradually become more flexible.
It is wonderful to see how quickly even the very youngest dancers learn and make progress. In Helmond, children can start dancing with us from the age of three — before they even start primary school.

Dance your fit

Fitness is important
After the warm-up, we always do an energetic cardio routine to help improve your fitness. Better stamina will ultimately help you become a stronger dancer, as good dancers need both endurance and flexibility.
An upbeat track with a powerful beat also gives energetic children the chance to burn off some of their energy.

Improve your flexibility
After the cardio routine, we slow things down and work on improving flexibility and posture. Good posture is especially important for every dancer. No matter how young you are, the variety of exercises will help you make progress quickly.
The more flexible you become, the more smoothly you can dance — and that builds confidence!
 With 3- to 5-year-olds, we play a lot to learn to dance smoothly.

Teachers dance in a special group for teachers to continuously improve. They have all completed in-house training as dance teachers. Totally according to the DéDé Dance philosophy: enthusiastic, all-round and accessible. The course also provides depth in the area of professional didactics: how do I teach a student something? In addition, teachers gain insight into child and adolescent development. Thus, they tailor the lessons to the right audience. You will always receive dance instruction in a way that suits you and your peers.
