Performances in the village
The best thing about dancing is performing. Every year, our dance classes in Meijel put on several performances, including at the annual fair and the Christmas market.
What matters most is that everyone looks forward to the performance and works towards it together. As a group, we put on a real show. Everyone can take part — a positive attitude is what matters most.

Experience the family feeling
Whether you are a toddler or a teenager, at DéDé Dance in Meijel we are one big family. The youngest girls look up to the older dancers and can learn a lot from them. In turn, the older girls look after the younger groups.
Everyone belongs, and that is what creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Dance school for children and adults
At the moment, most of our classes are for children and teenagers. However, if there is enough interest, we will also offer dance classes for adults in Meijel.
Sign up for a trial class and dance your heart out right here in your own village.

Perfect for our youngest dancers
We use games to teach new dance movements, because learning through play is the most enjoyable way to discover new things. The mouse game, for example, helps children gradually become more flexible.
It is wonderful to see how much progress they make, even the very youngest dancers. In Meijel, children can start dancing with us from the age of three — before they even start primary school.

Dancing is the most enjoyable way to stay active

A new challenge every 10 weeks

After the first half-hour of the class, the real dance party begins. We pick up the choreography we have already learned and add new dance steps. Sometimes we practise for an upcoming performance, while other times we simply dance for fun and for ourselves — always in a friendly and enjoyable group atmosphere.
Everyone, whether young or old, slim or curvy, tall or small, should be able to enjoy dancing. That goes without saying. It is the special DéDé Dance atmosphere that we want to preserve.

Interaction encourages learning
The classes are taught clearly, helping you understand and remember what you learn. Even our youngest dancers quickly pick up new skills. From the very beginning, you learn to perform and remember the exercises independently.
As you get older, you develop a better understanding of how to perform each dance step correctly.

Let loose and have fun
It is not all about serious dancing. Having fun is just as important. A class becomes even more enjoyable with plenty of laughter, fun and friendly banter.
That is why we always make special occasions extra festive. During our Carnival class, we dance in costume and to a special theme, and we also plan fun activities during our Sinterklaas classes.

Taking it to the next level
Keep challenging yourself. As you get older or improve your skills, the dance classes gradually become more difficult. All groups still dance to the same music and learn the same basic exercises.
Our instructors are always there to help you make the exercises and dance steps more challenging.
